Skylark and Presidential Ink Deal Ending Taxicab Competition
.

Prezo Inc., parent company of Presidential Taxi and DFW Airport Express, announces that the company is closing its Taxicab and Airport Shuttle Divisions.  The move will allow the management of Prezo Inc. to more closely focus on its expanding Handicapped and Medical Transportation Division and more effectively pursue other business interests.  Presidential Taxi and DFW Airport Express will both cease operations on Thursday January 24, 2008.

In a definitive agreement reached with Skylark's parent, Texhoma Transportation Inc., Skylark will be acquiring substantially all of the assets of Presidential Taxi and DFW Airport Express.  Prezo Incorporated's existing taxicab franchise granted by the City of Wichita Falls as well as its vehicle permits will be returned to the Wichita Falls City Council in the near future.

Jody Wade, President of Prezo Inc. started in the limousine and taxicab business in Wichita Falls at 21 years of age.  During the last 14 years, he added Handicap Express, Ole Charlie's Transmissions and Big Daddy's Wrecker Service as well as the Archer Advocate Newspaper into his family of companies.  Mr. Wade sold the Archer Advocate in 2007.  "After 14 years I feel it is time to slow down a little."  "Multiple companies that operate 24 hours per day tend to wear you down over time" stated Mr. Wade.  "Completing this deal with Skylark allows me to apportion my time more effectively between my current business operations and my family" added Wade.

Both Skylark and Prezo have taken the necessary steps to insure that all Presidential Taxi and DFW Airport Express customers will be well cared for.  "The two companies are working closely together in order to make a smooth transition and a seamless experience for our customers," stated Mr. Wade.  Customers calling Presidential Taxi for a ride will find Skylark Taxi answering the phone and Skylark taxicabs ready to provide service.   "We have a system set up that we hope will avoid confusion," added Candice Darnell of Skylark Taxi.  Mrs. Darnell went on to say that "Handicap Express and Medical Transport customers that reach Skylark by accident will be automatically referred to Handicap Express by Skylark's staff."

According to Skylark President Kevin Callahan, "Skylark currently is authorized to operate 25 taxicabs in Wichita Falls."  "We will be seeking to amend our franchise to add additional taxicabs to our fleet in order to provide quality and timely customer service to the community."

Customers who have existing reservations with Presidential Taxi and DFW Airport Express will be serviced by Skylark.

It is expected that many of the drivers and employees of Presidential Taxi and DFW Airport Express will transfer to Skylark.  "With the sale of assets to Skylark taking effect immediately, I wanted to make sure that my employees would be taken care of, especially those that have been with me for the last fourteen years" said Mr. Wade,  "Some of the drivers and employees of the two closing divisions may be moved laterally into Prezo"s Handicap and Medical Transportation division."  Skylark's President Kevin Callahan added, "We invite everyone currently driving for or employed within these two Prezo divisions to apply with Skylark."  "We have more than a few positions to fill".
